I had been working with Nikki Taylor in finance and my sales lady Makailah Davis for a while awaiting for the perfect truck for me. A Sierra 1500 SLE Double CAB had been ordered and Walt Massey was awaiting delivery not knowing at these strange times when the truck would come in. The whole atmosphere at Walt Massey was very calm and inviting. The staff NEVER made me feel pressured to buy or feel like I was getting on their nerves when I had questions or inquiries. I have dealt with many other dealerships and can assure that it was not the same experience. Also, I was very grateful that the prices of vehicles were not marked up above MSRP. I would recommend them over and over and over again!!!!!!!!! I had drove nearly 2 hours to pick up a car from a different dealership. When I arrived, I was told the car wasn't ready although the salesman assured me that it would be, knowing the distance I was traveling... while driving to that dealership in Metairie, Mr. Anthony at Walt Massey Chevrolet called me to follow-up because they had the same exact car. I told Anthony that I had decided to go to the other dealership because the mileage was less on that car. He said, if I have any issues there to call him back....after driving for 2 hours and then sitting around the other dealership for 2 hours with still no ETA on when I can drive the car back home, I decided to give Anthony a call back. He was so much more helpful over the phone, then the salespeople at the other dealership that I was actually at... so I made the decision to leave Metairie's dealership and drive nearly another 2 hours to Hattiesburg to let Anthony further assist me.... when I arrived, Anthony had already had the car washed and Detailed and ready for me to test drive!!!! I am so happy he actually followed up with me that morning, because it was that follow-up call that led me to calling him back during my stressful experience in Metairie.... AND to top it off, although the car had a few more miles on it, it was CLEARLY in WAY BETTER CONDITION than the car I was initially going to purchase. The entire team at Walt Massey was friendly, funny, helpful and determined to see me happy driving my new well-kept car back home!!!! Truly cannot say enough good things about this place!!! There are many places you can shop for your new ride, but you would be hard pressed to find a better group to take care of you! And when I say take care of you, I mean from after you negotiate your best deal with them, to the amazing service afterwords. My guy, Mr. Regi Grace, personally came to my place of work to pick the truck up to take and get accessories installed and service work done, long after the deal had been made. He went above and beyond to make sure we were not inconvenienced in the slightest. Brought it back too!!! Not only did I get the Tahoe I wanted, but they were honest, and did not even consider adding a buyer’s premium during this shortage that some dealerships are adding. I visited Walt Massey Chevrolet in Hattiesburg,MS and had one of the best experiences ever when it comes to customer service. I wasn’t sure how much it was going to cost so I stopped in to get an idea. I have a 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe. I could not get the spare tire to release from underneath the vehicle. I need a functional spare in case something were to happen while on the road. Not only for me but for my 2 children who ride with me often. When I entered the facility I was greeted by Dee. She greeted me with a smile and asked me what I needed. After telling her my issue she assured me not to worry. A few minutes later she introduced me to Brady, Chris and Johnny who intimately stopped what they were doing and began working on my issue. After countless attempts at releasing the spare they finally figured out exactly how to release the tire. It seems that the mechanism which releases the tire had jammed so they had to take the time to take the entire spare tire carriage and release system off from underneath my Tahoe. I was so grateful. 2 different places had looked at my problem before I brought the vehicle to them. Neither place I visited that day had the expertise to recognize what the problem was let alone solve the issue. I thanked all of them who worked on my problem including Dee who had set the tone for my customer service experience when I walked in their business. I asked what I owed them and to my surprise they told me it would be no charge… Finally, they told me it was a pleasure to help me and asked if there was anything else I needed.
