EAGLE EYE OUTFITTERS Pay & Benefits reviews

Friendly community of employees, job itself not so great

Sales Associate (Current Employee) - Dothan, AL - June 5,

I loved working at Eagle Eye for many reasons, the main one being the welcoming Christian community you will find. Every day, you have the opportunity to get to know each other and share meals together, and it really feels like one big family. The main downside about working at Eagle Eye is the countless hours on your feet, with minimal break time. If you aren't working a full shift exactly, you will barely receive a break. (I had to work 7 hours standing up with a 15 minute break.) Also, the pay is not stellar, even compared to fast food. However, the customers are extremely pleasant, and you will get to know a lot of them personally. The management is well organized and makes things flow smoothly.

Pros

Community, Friendly Customers, Good Hours, Accommodation

Cons

Little to no breaks, Standing on your feet, Cliques

Amazing culture is what it's all about.

The biggest and most important thing I've leaned from working here is investing in people. The more you learn about those around you and truly focus on honing their skills and abilities you will start see the rewards of building those people up. From customers, to the staff to your family, everyone benefits from the quality relationships that we build and in turn guide you to the best opportunities that are out there.

Productive warehouse work

A typical day consist of first laoding up the truck to take product to the store location. Then recieving product in from the distributors, pricing, tagging, logging and stocking the product.
Management and staff were friendly.
The most enjoyable part of the job was the coworkers and the chanllenges that would come up.

Eagle Eye Outfitters offers new work incentives for student workers

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Eagle Eye Outfitters visited Dothan Tech Wednesday to announce new benefits for high school and college student employees.

Like many other businesses, it is looking to hire more people due to a lack of workers and hopes these incentives will help kids feel more at ease about working while being in school.

Plus, organizers said the program is meant to help students prepare for a full-time job once they finish school.

&#;We&#;ve created a high school ambassador program for co-op students, for local co-op students, and we&#;ve also created a college diplomat program too, which will actually give students an opportunity to earn wages while they&#;re in school but also to earn a $ scholarship,&#; manager Rick Walz said.

Eagle Eye Outfitters hopes to continue this program with future students.

Eagle Eye Outfitters surprises high school and college workers with scholarship money

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Wednesday Eagle Eye Outfitters owners surprised eight of their high school and college students with a $ scholarship.

The money comes from the business&#; new program geared toward improving part-time staff retention while providing incentives.

Co-owner Mark Anderson said the program also develops more long-term employees at Eagle Eye and allows students to work throughout the school year.

After a year, they will be able to renew the program headed to college and continue as a college diplomat.

Students didn&#;t know what to expect walking into work.

&#;I was extremely excited and surprised I did not expect that coming into today,&#; Trenton Berry, scholarship recipient said.

Another student told WDHN it makes her appreciate Eagle Eye even more.

&#;Finding out that receiving this $ scholarship I can&#;t thank them enough for that so I&#;m very grateful that I work here,&#; Marty Gary said.

&#;It was a big leap for me because everybody who knew me before I started working here knew that I actually was a little on the shy side so definitely really broke me out of my shell, Berry said.

Anderson said they have been wanting to do this for a long time and now it&#;s come to fruition.

&#;These eight have made a tremendous impact on our company and they helped us get through COVID,&#; Anderson said. &#;It&#;s just been a blessing for us so the greatest thing we could say to them is just thank you.&#;
