Chevrolet Cobalt - Reliable vehicle with excellent gas mileage

I love this vehicle for its great gas mileage. I travel to visit family miles away several times a year and being able to drive this car for those trips make the trip very affordable. I actually leased a cobalt for 3 years before purchasing the cobalt that I currently own. For a small car it is quite roomy and has ample storage room in the trunk of the vehicle as well. The car was very affordable, but it is not overly stylish or made with high quality materials. It also does not come standard with cruise control, power windows, or power locks. However, it does have electronic system for your tire monitors, oil change status, engine temperature and current mileage per gallon usage. Overall, the vehicle is dependable and fuel efficient.

I drove my vehicle to an out of state wedding with a friend of mine. My friend was worried that my vehicle would not drive well over a long distance. He was pleasantly surprised not only by how well the car drove, but how great the gas mileage was.

This vehicle is affordable to own, not only because of the initial low cost of the Cobalt, but also because of its fuel efficiency. In addition, it has been reliable and dependable for the 7 years that I have owned it.

Chevrolet Cobalt - Dependable, Reliable, Economical

We have had this car for several years and we have been really happy with the car. The car has done a good job of adapting to changes in lifestyle. We purchased this car as a newly married couple and it has remained with us as our family has grown to include two children. Other than paying for and performing the routine maintenance (oil) and taking care of the few wear items (tires, brakes), we have been fortunate and haven't had any major repairs to speak of. This car has been reliable as a daily driver and has been used to transport the family across the country (Texas to Wisconsin). While the car isn't spacious when compared to larger vehicles, it fits the family pretty well for everything but really long trips. The car has held up well and still looks like a nice car even with year (more)

This has been a fun car and has served the family well even with 20 hour drives to visit family for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Imagine 20 hours straight in a car with 2 small children. The best features of the car are that it has been a reliable car and has been economical to own. The car has had very little work other than preventative maintenance and normal wear type items. The purchase price of the car was economical while it gets good gas mileage so it lasts between fill ups. We normally get 30mpg on the car although that is with my lead foot. For a car with a small engine, it has reasonable acceleration and we never feel danger with getting up to speed for highway travel. We have comfortably fit four adults in the car when going out with couples.

There are not too many negative aspects to the car. When the kids are little and their car seats need to be installed backwards, the movement of the front seat is limited so that it cannot move all the way back. In fact, with any sort of car seat installed, the leg room for children is a bit small. The only other annoyance that has come up is a few of the plastic clips holding the front bumper tight broke when we hit a tall curb one time. The bumper is still attached to the car but it isn't as tight as it used to be. Another panel under the car had a few Christmas tree connectors come off (more)

Be Smart, Check in Advance. CARFAX — Your Vehicle History.

CARFAX — Your Vehicle History Expert

Sometimes what you don't know can't hurt you, but that's not the case when buying a used car. As an independent vehicle history provider, at CARFAX we've made it our mission to tell you everything you need to know by uncovering as many events as possible from the previous life of a used car. Our primary goal is to help you get to know your next car from the inside out before deciding to make an investment that will be part of you and your family's everyday life. We believe your next car shouldn't be hiding anything from you.

CARFAX Vehicle History Reports contain over 28 billion historical records from 20 European countries, the US and Canada, which are updated daily with new information.

Even if you live in a country we don't collect vehicle data from, it's still always worth checking the Vehicle Identification Number without obligation. The used car import and export market is booming and many owners would be surprised to find out exactly what happened to their vehicle during its previous life abroad.

Privacy for Customers — Transparency over Vehicles

Let's be clear: Although we strive to find every detail of a vehicle's life so far, we are focused only on the vehicle's history, and do not collect any information on previous owners. The information we provide relates solely to the vehicle, its odometer reading, any accidents that have been covered up, where the vehicle comes from and much more — it never gets personal. We've uncovered irreparable damage several times in the past, but other times our vehicle history checks draw a blank — and sometimes that's actually a good thing.

Second Hand — Not Second Best

Did you know that considerably more used cars are sold than new cars? We think this second-hand system is nothing short of fantastic. However, it goes without saying that it gives rise to different methods and tactics: Some sellers will disguise a car that's been in an accident under a fresh coat of paint, tamper with the odometer or conceal theft. This is one of the less appealing aspects of buying second hand. Our goal is to establish trusting relationships between buyers and sellers, since this is the best way to help customers make the right decision. Your new car should be reliable and make you feel safe, as well as make you feel like you haven't paid too much.

But more than anything else, we don't want you or your family unknowingly sitting behind the wheel of a vehicle that isn't % safe. This is why we strive to take these vehicles off the road, which not only makes the used car market safer but our streets safer too.

CARFAX — 35+ Years of Experience in Vehicle Histories

CARFAX was founded in the US in and expanded into Europe in Around team members spread across six European offices process vehicle information from 22 countries.

Fostering strategic partnerships with registration authorities, law enforcement agencies, government departments, insurance companies, inspection centers and numerous other leading companies around the world has enabled us to compile a unique international database for vehicle histories. We use this database to help make the used car market more transparent. We give everyone in the process of buying a used car access to what is currently the world's most comprehensive source for vehicle history reports, and is growing day by day.

We remain neutral and independent despite our partnerships — our sole purpose is help customers make an informed choice and ensure their safety and the safety of their family. This includes never collecting any personal details — we do not accept any PII from data sources amongst the information we provide about a vehicle. We ensure that data protection laws are observed at all times. Furthermore, we always collect our data in compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks — in all the countries in which we are active. We expressly distance ourselves from illegal activities such as data theft, scraping and hacking.

Chevrolet Chevy sedan (C2) - Reseña

Chevrolet Silverado Usados en Venta

Chevrolet Silverado - Highly recommended for families!

I really like how much power our Chevy had with its v8 engine. It is extremely spacious in the front seat and back seat. The heater and A/C have not failed us yet and that is a must in the SW desert heat. It is very easy to drive and does very well on the highway. We've owned the truck now for 7 years and it still feels brand new with how easy it is to clean and how well it runs. I have absolutely LOVED the thermometer that shows in the rear view mirror and also love the 4-wheel drive capabilities, as those things have come in handy in more than one occasion. The only downside we've experienced with the Silverado is the some electrical issues. For example, power windows not working, random messages on the dash that would turn off and on, and the ABS button having issues from time to ti (more)

Those were the only times we had to take our truck into the shop. The truck is about to hit , miles, though, and it runs like its new. I know that it'll last us for a while and through all the traveling we do every year -- and we do a LOT! It's been perfect for our little family and dogs.

We have always been able to use our pick-up to go hunting around our area and haven't had it stuck once!

Chevrolet Silverado - Good car.

The Chevrolet Silverado is pretty much the quintessential modern full-size pickup. It's able to do all the truck stuff you see in the TV ads -- manly tree-stump-pulling' and the like -- while simultaneously being comfortable and upscale enough for daily family use. Heck, you can probably make a family outing of stump-pulling, if you like. Followers of the half-ton Silverado know that this wasn't always the case, however. Only last year did the Silverado receive significant upgrades. Compared to earlier models, the latest redesigned truck has a much improved interior, higher-quality materials and tighter build quality. I bought my truck slightly used in the summer of '09 with 22K on the dash. I have 86K now. Last summer at 65K my transmission went out on me. Had to drive it in reverse half a mile to a gas station to park it. Also, there have been electrical issues with the drivers side lock not locking when I press the remote and window switches not working. Oh, and I'm on my 2nd battery already. Can't figure that one out. Stabilitrak disengages at times. Looking to get out of it already.

The Chevrolet Silverado is a half-ton full-size pickup truck. There are three body styles available: standard cab, extended cab and crew cab. Standard cabs can be had with either a standard bed (6-foot, 6-inch) or long bed (8-foot). Extended cabs can have a short (5-foot, 8-inch), standard or long bed. In the interest of maneuverability, crew cabs come only with the short bed. Regular cabs can be had in base Work or midlevel LT trims, while the extended and crew cabs are also available in the plush LTZ trim. There's also an LS trim for crew cabs only. The Work trim comes with the basics, including air-conditioning (extended and crew cab versions), a trip computer, OnStar telematics, vinyl seating, a 40/20/split front bench seat, a CD/MP3 player with an auxiliary audio jack, satellite radio and tilt steering wheel. The LT trim actually consists of two subsets: 1LT and 2LT. The 1LT (and the mostly similar LS) build on the Work trim with cruise control, cloth seating (with adjustable driver lumbar), full power accessories, keyless entry, an auto-dimming rearview mirror and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Opting for the 2LT nets you alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control (in extended and crew cabs), front bucket seats and steering-wheel-mounted audio controls. The top-shelf LTZ has all of the previous equipment plus rain-sensing wipers (with heated washer fluid), a Bose audio system with six-disc CD changer, leather seating, remote engine start, an exclusive dash design with wood/metallic accents, way power and heated front seats and rear audio controls. Notable available options include a variety of towing packages, the Z71 Off-Road Package (skid plates, off-road suspension and locking rear differential), inch wheels, upgraded audio systems, a navigation system, a rear-seat DVD entertainment system, heated power-folding outside mirrors, a sunroof, a power-sliding rear window, a cargo management system and rear park assist. There is also an optional "EZ Lift" tailgate that requires only about half the effort (compared to the standard tailgate) to open and close.

I've always purchases only GM vehicles. The latest purchase turned out to be my worst car-ownership experience. The subject truck has an apparent defect that caused carburization in cylinders, sticking rings and incredible oil consumption. The vehicle was back and forth to the dealer for 12 months before I threatened legal action and finally got a warranty piston and ring replacement.
